Welcome to the World Dylan

We are very happy to announce that Dylan David Cooper arrived safely into the World on July 13th weighing 3.26kg. He was born at home as planned and the delivery was everything I’d hoped for in a beautiful birthing experience.

learn to let go

Learn to let go

I was recently at the Nan Tien Temple for a simple meditation retreat and at the end of each session they have a discussion about different aspects of personal development. The one I attended was on ‘Letting go’. We did a beautiful walking meditation which is a very slow and deliberate walk with bare feet…

time out

Taking time out!

Everyone needs a little time out! Some people need it daily, some weekly, and some people manage to function most of the year just on the time out from one holiday, living the rest of their lives at a frantic pace! Personally, I need a little time out each day. I start the day with…

Child brides

A matter of perspective

Each month I recieve the National Geographic magazine, and each month I’m humbled by how little I really know about the world around us. learning

Learning to be

Recently I went to the Camilia Gardens in Caringbah, on President Ave. It was a beautiful day and they really are some of the best gardens Sydney has to offer. While waiting for some friends I found myself wondering through their ‘Senses’ gardens and it was such a beautiful experience to simply be. As I…

Circle of Life

Circle of life

slow down time

Can we slow down time?

Laura (my little girl) was recently one, and I can’t tell you how many times people said to me “doesn’t time fly, before you know it she’ll be 18 and moving out.” Well, it got me thinking, what is it that makes time fly, is it simply perspective? Looking back on 18 years it will…

deal with anger

How to deal with anger

I’ve been reading a great book lately called ‘Buddhism for Mothers’ and there is a whole section on anger. I’ve never really been an angry person but every now and then I have a client with issues around anger so I thought I’d share a little of what I found. Here are a few…
